Personal Computing  

IU's personal computing environment includes:

  • An account on the IU computing network for every faculty, student, and staff member, including e-mail, a personal Web page, and full Internet access, even from your home computer.

  • Popular software for both Windows and the Macintosh is available exclusively to IU faculty, staff and students for free or for a nominal fee due to our licensing contracts with vendors.

  • Computer training, education, and certification through IT Training and Education to help you get the computer skills you need.

  • IUware on CD contains essential Web-browsing, communications, and anti-virus software for both Windows and the Macintosh for a nominal fee.
