IU Tuition Benefit
Learn While You Earn
Do you want to start working toward
a degree (or complete one you started years ago)? At IU, we emphasize
the teaching and learning of students and staff, as well as their
family members. We offer the opportunity to "learn while you earn"
with the IU Tuition Benefit.
- Employee tuition benefit pays 100 percent up to a dollar limit per semester. The dollar limit is based on 100 percent of three credit/audit hours--and 50 percent for another three credit/audit hours--at the Indiana resident undergraduate, graduate, or professional rate, as appropriate to the employee's degree program.
Educational Opportunity for Children
Wondering today how you'll put your child through college tomorrow? An IU degree is your child's key to a successful future, a key he or she can take anywhere in the world.
- Dependent children of IU employees may take up to 140 credit hours--or achieve their first bachelor's degree--at 50 percent of the Indiana resident undergraduate rate. (Most programs require a minimum of 122 credit hours to graduate with a baccalaureate degree.)
Educational Opportunity for Spouses
The university also subsidizes tuition costs for spouses and registered domestic partners of IU employees.
- IU Tuition Benefit for spouses and registered domestic partners pays 100 percent up to a dollar limit per semester. The dollar limit is based on 50 percent of three credit/audit hours at the Indiana resident undergraduate rate.
